[Testimonial] Oklahoma district gets ‘biggest bang’ for its buck with Lexia

At Oklahoma’s Mustang Public Schools, students often arrive in the classroom from varied backgrounds and experiences. “Our greatest challenge right now is all of our new students and meeting them where they are and identifying their needs as they come in,” says Misty Eidson, director of elementary curriculum and instruction for the district. “We have kids coming to us in third grade who are not yet reading, still learning letters and sounds. We have students coming in who are well above. With Lexia Core5, we are able to meet every child at their individualized level and help grow them from that level toward reading proficiency.”

Since adopting Core5 in 2020, Eidson and her educators have made sure to implement the program with fidelity for maximum benefits. “We’re very proud of our usage data,” she says. That regular usage has brought results that can be seen not just in the classroom but at home.
