Research Spotlight on Delaware City School District
There were significant correlations between Lexia® Core5® Reading On Target scores and Northwest Evaluation Association Measure of Academic Progress (NWEA MAP) scores. Most students (58% or more)—with the exception of those in kindergarten—who were On Target at the beginning or middle of the school year were proficient on the NWEA MAP in the spring.
Core5 provides equitable learning opportunities for all students, promoting their success and well-being. This science of reading-based program has been found effective with a variety of populations to help close the gap in as little as 10 weeks.
