The Big Picture: Building a Comprehensive Literacy Plan

Educators at Friendship Public Charter School (FPCS) in Washington D.C., began their journey into the science of reading by developing a comprehensive literacy plan that included:
- Training for a science of reading culture
- Developing instructional strategies
- Creating successful partnerships
- Addressing potential challenges
