Lexia PowerUp Literacy Research for Ohio

An Ohio middle school implemented Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® for the 2017-2018 school year. The blended learning program addresses the instructional needs of a wide range of students through individualized and systematic instruction.

Students progressed their literacy skills in grammar, comprehension, and word study. One-third of adolescent learners who were identified as “non-proficient” on a statewide ELA test in spring 2017 went on to achieve “proficient” scores in spring 2018.
