Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® U.S. Annual Charter School Report
Overall, 80,237 students in grades 6-12 used PowerUp during the 2021-22 school year across all charter schools. Students who used the online component of PowerUp with fidelity completed on average 71 activities across the three strands of instruction (Word Study, Grammar, and Reading Comprehension), making substantial advances towards grade-level content. Nearly 50% of these students covered three grade-levels of skills in just one year, meaning they moved up one PowerUp Zone or more in all three instructional strands of the program.
