Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® and NWEA MAP® Growth™ Reading
Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® performance measures were shown to be valid indicators of reading ability based on comparisons with scores on NWEA MAP Growth Reading test. There was a strong, positive correlation between where students ended the year in PowerUp and their Spring MAP Reading scores. Higher levels of progress in PowerUp were associated with higher Spring MAP Reading percentile ranks.
