Arkansas Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® ACT Aspire Validity Report 2020-21
Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® performance measures were shown to be valid indicators of reading ability based on comparisons with scores on the ACT Aspire English Language Arts (ELA) assessment. Strong, significant correlations were found between students' percent completion in PowerUp and their ACT Aspire ELA scale scores. Students who completed higher percentages of PowerUp activities scored higher on the ACT Aspire ELA assessment.
