Lexia Core5 Reading U.S. Infographic

At Lexia®, the research speaks for itself especially when it comes to Lexia Core5 Reading. All students deserve equal access to literacy, and throughout the 2023–2024 school year, Core5 helped millions of students achieve their reading goals.

Seventy-nine percent of students using the program with fidelity reached grade-level benchmarks or above, making Core5 the top choice for educators across the nation. During the 2023–2024 academic year, 3.7 million students and 219,500 educators in 18,400 schools used Core5.

Most impressive were the gains made in closing gaps in education. For students who started two or more grade levels behind, 40% ended the year on grade level or reached their grade-level benchmark, and 53% gained two or more grade levels in one year.

While 37% of students started the year on grade level, the end of the year saw 79% reaching their grade-level benchmark or rising above it.

"I love that Core5 adjusts to intervene when students make errors. The reteaching is priceless. Also I love the certificates for leveling up, this along with the different themes of the levels are very engaging,” one teacher said.
