Why Aspire?
With 85% of public-school curriculum being delivered via reading text, literacy is a cornerstone for success across all core classes. Students must read well to perform well.
In upper elementary and middle school, the focus becomes reading to learn—rather than learning to read. A teacher who is knowledgeable and skilled in the application of the science of reading can create an equitable learning environment for all students and foster continued literacy growth.
Aspire Professional Learning equips educators with the knowledge and skills they need to apply evidence-based strategies derived from the science of reading to a classroom of students who have varying levels of literacy competencies. Educators can also choose the content that’s most relevant to improving their students’ literacy outcomes.
