Beginning in the 2024–2025 school year, all districts and community schools must use High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) in English Language Arts from the lists provided by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW). Department leaders have approved Lexia’s science of reading-based solution Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® for Evidence-Based Reading Intervention Program for Grades 6–12.
