Lindsay Bohm

Lindsay Bohm is the curriculum coordinator overseeing K–12 Literacy, Social Studies, and Library Services for the Peoria Public School District in central Illinois. She is responsible for drafting the literacy framework for primary and middle school ELA classrooms and for supporting the implementation of high-leverage instructional practices through professional learning for both principals and teachers. She also works with high school teachers to draft curriculum maps and common assessments to ensure equity in academic rigor districtwide.
Bohm has been in education for 17 years. She started her career as a middle school English/Language Arts teacher before moving to positions with regional offices of education supporting state grants in school improvement coaching and the Illinois KIDS project. Recently, she has served as a member of the team to create an Early Learning Microcredential series for Illinois administrators.
Bohm received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Western Illinois University in 2005 and her master's degree in educational leadership from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2009. She lives in rural central Illinois with her husband and triplet boys.
