Moving Literacy Education Forward
While the education landscape continues to evolve, its mission remains: To help open the doors of opportunity for every student. Literacy education is the key to those doors. The widening opportunity gaps we see today are hurting students and teachers, which has only increased the urgency of this mission.
District and school administrators have had to juggle the growing inequities, struggles, and burnout within their schools while trying to achieve district literacy goals. But with the pandemic mostly behind us and federal funding still available, the actions we take today can improve student opportunities for years to come.
Listen in as Education Department Relations Manager Brittany Martin and Senior Education Advisor Kerri Larkin explore what is needed to move literacy education forward. In this webinar, they discuss how to:
- Move literacy instruction forward with the science of reading and Structured Literacy
- Move educational technology forward with adaptive blended learning
- Move education forward with federal funding for effective, proven programs
As we shift the way we approach literacy education, we ensure every student can achieve long-term success.
