Moving the Needle: Tennessee Districts Improve Foundational Literacy Skills With High-Quality Instruction Materials

With mandated third grade retention for students not meeting reading proficiency, Tennessee administrators and educators need to be able to react quickly when a student is struggling to master grade-level reading skills. Visibility into timely student performance data can inform decision-making and identify students who need a little extra support.
