Core5 and the Science of Reading for New York City

How does the elementary reading program, Lexia® Core5® Reading, build lifelong literacy practices? It applies the five decades of science of reading research and applies it through targeted literacy activities and teacher-led lessons.

The principles of Structured Literacy—Explicit, Systematic, Cumulative, and Diagnostic and Responsive instruction—are present in the program, as well.
