Lexia® Core5® Reading Alignment to Pennsylvania Core and Academic Standards for English Language Arts

Lexia® Core5® Reading aligns to the levels of complexity and rigor of the Pennsylvania Core and Academic Standards for ELA. Through systematic design, Core5 ensures both foundational reading proficiency and advanced skill development across the six strands of instruction, all of which support Pennsylvania’s standards for reading. It prepares students for the Pennsylvania Core and Academic Standards for ELA as they develop the necessary foundational skills to access complex text, gain deep knowledge, increase academic vocabulary, and learn the significance of using evidence to support their claims. 

The Adaptive Blended Learning program includes these Pennsylvania curriculum requirements to prepare students to be considered “literate:”
