More than 4.6 million students. More than 33,000 schools. More than 325,000 educators. The 2022-2023 academic year was a success story.
For the academic year 2022-2023, Lexia® Core5® Reading, Lexia® PowerUp Literacy®, and Lexia English Language Development™ continued to shine, and do the job of helping educators teach students how to read, and how to read better. Based on the science of reading, students using these programs were able to stay engaged in learning, even as they learned targeted skills.
Lexia Core5 Reading
Students working at or above their grade level increased from 41% to 85%. And 75% of educators say student outcomes are improving due to Core5.
Lexia PowerUp Literacy
Of the students who used PowerUp with fidelity, 53% covered three or more grade levels of skills in a single school year.
Lexia English Language Development
There were 4.2 million academic conversations in Lexia English. In addition, two in five students moved up to the next proficiency band in one school year. Educators were also impressed by students' increased self-confidence.
