Making the Most of ESSER Funds with Lexia® Aspire™ Professional Learning
Professional development is one of the most important aspects of ensuring students find success in learning how to read, which is why educators need a strong grasp on the science of reading. As we transition back to in-person learning following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER Fund) has been implemented to help students and educators address the impact the pandemic had (and continues to have) on elementary and secondary schools.
ESSER funds can be used for professional development programs like Lexia Aspire™ Professional Learning. Professional development programs are fundamental to teaching literacy, and our program allows educators to get high-quality, evidence-based training that is flexible and self-paced. Aspire Professional Learning provides targeted scaffolding to ensure educators learn concepts effectively, and Aspire’s Bridge to Application resources help educators transfer their learning directly into the classroom, making the program relevant and practical for all users.
