Dr. Barrett is a licensed psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). She was selected to participate in the IES-funded Research Institute for Implementation Science in Education (RIISE) in 2022, Global Curriculum Fellowship program in the College of Education at MSU in 2021, the Early Career Prevention Scientist Training Program by the Society for Prevention Research in 2020, was named an Early Career Scholar by the Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP) in 2019, and received an Early Career Research Award from SSSP in 2016. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Educational and Psychological Consultation, a member of the Editorial Board for School Psychology Review, and a member of the Statistical Advisory Editorial Board for School Psychology.
