Implementing Lexia® Core5® Reading and Lexia® English Language Development® in California Schools
Lexia® Core5® Reading accelerates the development of literacy skills for California readers of all abilities in grades TK–5. Lexia® English Language Development® supports California Emergent Bilingual students’ English language acquisition through academic conversations.
When used together, the two programs build the strongest, most comprehensive foundation for later reading and academic success for Emergent Bilinguals. Addressing ELA and ELD standards provides Emergent Bilingual students with the correct instruction to drive overall language and literacy proficiency and long-term academic achievement.
