Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® South Carolina State Report
Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® helped more than 5,000 South Carolina students in grades 6–12 during the 2021-2022 school year make gains in their literacy knowledge. Forty-eight percent of the students who participated in the program with fidelity saw three grade levels worth of growth in a single year, helping them more effectively read to learn rather than learn to read. In fact, none of the students started the year with advanced literacy skills in all three strands, but 38% ended the year with advanced literacy skills across the board.
