Some schools protect their students by sending all web traffic to a Proxy server. The proxy server acts as a middle man between the student and the Internet. If your school uses a Proxy server you can configure Lexia Reading’s software to work with the proxy server by entering the Proxy Settings on the General Setting screen. You can enter:
- Proxy Address – IP address of your school proxy server (formatted without http:// or https://). (required)
- Proxy Port – Port used to access the proxy server (formatted without http:// or https://). (required)
- Proxy User – This is the username requested by the proxy server. (optional)
- Proxy Password – This is the password for the username entered. (optional)
To configure Lexia Reading’s software with your Proxy information
- Double-click on the Lexia Reading icon to launch the student software.
- Hold down the "a" and the "s" keys until the configuration screen displays.
- Enter your Proxy Settings and Save.

Customers with proxies in place to filter web traffic may need to whitelist the addresses that the Lexia Reading client software accesses:
- student.mylexia.com (67.217.109.241)
- update.lexialearning.com (72.32.30.18)
